thank you so much! It was a fabulous night – one of those things where everything seemed to work out from the fabulous venue to the lovely readers and a really warm audience. We always try to have a really diverse group of styles but everyone who reads for us tends to fit our broad brief of writing about people and situations and things that take life in all its many-sided wonder and weirdness.

I was there last night, and just wanted to say what a great event it was. I was really impressed by all the readers – even the open-mic contenders were great. It just seemed a really diverse group of writers that somehow fitted together perfectly. I’ll be keeping my eye on the Eightcuts website for more northern events.
